Fourth Amendment campaigns support businesses in creating a safe place to work and help the community to be a safe place to live. Both are jeopardized by continued threats of unconstitutional searches and seizures, federal overreach, and/or violation of constitutional rights, detentions and forced deportations by ICE, Customs and Border Protection, and other federal agencies. These threats affect businesses and communities. Many communities across the country are implementing Fourth Amendment strategies to assert their rights and protect themselves.
The MV 4A Project is run by concerned Island citizens and is developing a partnership with LUCE. LUCE is a coalition of immigrant led, grassroots organizations focused primarily on ICE verification and is expanding into Fourth Amendment work across Massachusetts.
